In response to requests from Wushu practitioners for swords with ultra-flexible blades, we have developed the Flexible Long Sword. With a spring steel blade tapering to almost paper thin at the tip, it is very light (barely one pound), extremely fast and surprisingly loud in skilled hands. A tassel is available separately.

Tolles Schwert. Habe es mir vorallem für das Training in China gekauft. Wollte hier ein leichteres Schwert wie das Practical Tai Chi Schwert. Schwert kann sehr schnell geführt werden und ist wie versprochen auch sehr laut. Leider für meinen Geschmack ein wenig zu flexibel. Die starke Flexibilität äusert sich bei sehr schnellen Bewegungen etwas destabilisierend beim führen im HAndgelenk da die Klinge dann etwas flackert. Ist zumindestens mein Gefühl. Wird man sich dann nach ein paar Wochen Training aber bestimmt daran gewöhnen und die Klinge besser beherrschen. Eine Gute Ergänzung zum Practical Tai Chi Schwert. Für nornales Training ziehe ich das Practical Tai Chi Schwert vor. Für sehr langwieriges und ausdauerndes Training hat das Flexible Tai Chi Schwert aber durchaus seine Vorteile aufgrund des Gewichtes. Schwerpunkt optimal und ein gutes Gefühl beim führen. Über die Farbe lässt sich streiten. In schwarz würde es mir besser gefallen. Für Sparring ist es nicht geeignet. Liebe Grüße Tobias Goller
