Black Prince Sword - Late 14th century Hand and a Half Sword - The original sword, which rests in a private collection in England, is thought to possibly be the sword of Edward the Black Prince. The Black Prince, son of Edward III and father of Richard II, was known as a great warrior. The sword was removed from its resting place during the English Civil War, Cromwell being blamed for its disappearance.
This design features a distilled taper 33 1/4" high carbon steel blade with strong tang that is peened over top the pommel. The handle is hard-wood then wrapped in leather. The cross guard and pommel are solid steel. Making this a very light feeling and balanced sword.
This sword features an adjustable scabbard, a hardwood scabbard wrapped in leather which is completely adjustable to fit your needs. A unique design as well as very functional for the few owners that possess one.

Das Black Prince Schwert liegt hervorragend ausbalanciert in der Hand und ist schön verarbeitet. Es schneidet einen Tick schlechter als ein "Practical Katana" von Paul Chen, hat damit aber trotzdem eine gute Schärfe. In der Klasse unter 300 Euro sicherlich eine Empfehlung für ein Mittelalterschwert.
