The D2 blade steel is also bonded with Carbonitride Titanium. This bonding treatment provides an added layer of unparalleled resistance to rust and corrosion, as well as making the blade to 10x harder than untreated steel. The extra hardness also ensures an exceptional rate of edge retention across countless uses, one that will easily outclass untreated knife blades.
