With the new Compact models, designer Dietmar Pohl has developed an extremely robust and very compact knife series for everyday use.
The main focus is on the massive and 88 millimeter long classic Bowie blade of the Compact One, which is enormously solid in construction with a thickness of 6 mm. For high cutting durability and resilience of the blades, the well-known D2 tool steel was chosen. The blade surface has a black TiN coating.
The reduced handle design is the basis for the very compact size of the knife. The comfortably rounded tang and the sophisticatedly designed finger grooves provide a great and secure grip, especially in combination with the likewise CNC-milled handle scales made of G-10. The distinctive milling in the front section of the handle serves as an index and support point for the thumb.
The Compact One BK is equipped with a sturdy and high-quality Kydex® sheath in black color. The Tac-Clip belt adapter, which can be mounted in various positions, allows a flexible and secure carrying.
