The blade is made of 71 layers of stainless Damascus steel. The cutting edge is made of 8CR13 MoV stainless steel. When the Damascus steel is turned it forms and interesting rose pattern on the blade. The blade scales are made of precious ebony. The spring is elaborately decorated and secures the blade.
