Shinichi Kudou is 17 years old and already referred to as the “modern Sherlock Holmes.” After a date with his girlfriend Ran Mouri he finds out about an illegal deal, but neglects to watch his own back and is knocked out. He is administered a poison which is supposed to kill him. However the poison doesn’t kill him, but changes him into a child. Shinichi turns to Hiroshi Agasa with his problem, a crazy professor who is the only man in this situation who would believe him. From then on Shinichi calls himself Conan Edogawa and attempts to resume his previous life. He quickly realizes though that life as a six year old master detective is not so easy, especially when you’re on the trail of what it probably the largest criminal ring in the world: the Black Organization.
