The Kershaw Knockout is a solid and properly finished pocket knife, made in the United States. The handle, and the way the lock was applied to it was remarkable. The handle is made from light-weight anodized aluminium. Enhanced with a steel spring that takes care of the sub-framelock. As such you can use a light-weight material such as aluminium for the handle and a strong steel spring from the framelock to lock the blade. The result is a relatively large knife that is quite light-weight.
The blade is made from Swedish Sandvik 14C28N is sharp and retains its sharpness well. You can quickly open the blade with the SpeedSafe assisted opening. As you open the knife the internal spring helps out.
