The Falcata was used by the Greeks round the 5th Century BC.
This very front-heavy blade shape was highly functional, combining the advantages of a battle ax and a shortsword.
The mirror-polished blade is made of 420 stainless steel.
The decorative handle with white inlay is decorated with a lion's head on the handle end. The model for this replica is in the Archaeological Museum of Madrid.
